    A 23-year-old Bonneville County man, Seth Tanaka, was recently sentenced to 10 years in prison with a rider for possessing child pornography. According to a press release from the Idaho Attorney General’s office, Judge Michael Whyte retained jurisdiction over the case for up to one year, which is known as a rider.

    A 36-year-old man from Idaho Falls has been sentenced to 135 months in federal prison for possessing fentanyl with intent to distribute, according to a press release. According to the release, Andrew Clifford Meyer’s case dates back to August of 2023. Officers contacted Meyer in the Fort Hall Casino parking lot after receiving reports of a fight. Officers located Meyer’s car and observed fentanyl pills through a window.
