Marzetti Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Lancaster Colony Corp. and a manufacturer and seller of specialty food products, has hired Judith Mondello as its chief research, development and quality officer succeeding Steve Hill, PhD. JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Danone US is keeping pace with the growth of its coffee and creamer portfolio by opening a $65 million production line at its plant in Jacksonville, Fla. Danone, which owns such coffee-focused brands as International Delight creamers and Stok Cold Brew Coffee, said the new production line features a bottle-molding process that may increase production capacity. The Jacksonville-based facility has been open since 1948.

WASHINGTON — Laoban is expanding its Asian-inspired frozen food lineup with the addition of a new collection – Crunchy Bites. The items include crab Rangoon, scallion pancakes and Taiwanese popcorn chicken that are air-fryer ready. Laoban’s co-founders Patrick Conye and Tim Ma said the products were inspired by what Ma grew up eating in his family’s restaurants and also what consumers order at restaurants, takeout or delivery.
