Construction has finished at 1900 Lawrence St. in Denver. The project adds 720K SF of office space to the city’s Central Business District. Chicago-based real estate firm Riverside is the developer behind the 30-story office tower. Riverside partnered with Convexity Properties and Dallas-based Canyon Partners Real Estate to develop the property beginning in 2022.

Courtesy of Koelbel and Co.Walter A. “Buz” Koelbel Jr., who led one of Colorado's leading local real estate companies for 47 years, died Sept. 19 of blood cancer. He was 72. A third-generation Coloradan, Koelbel joined Koelbel and Co., a firm founded by his father, in 1976 after spending time in property management in San Francisco. He took over as president in 1985 and ran the company, eventually with his sons, until April.

The Denver City Council on Monday unanimously approved a zoning application for an overhaul of Cherry Creek West by developer East West Partners. The 13-acre mixed-used redevelopment is expected to cover about four blocks, from University Boulevard to the Clayton Lane retail property and from First Avenue to Cherry Creek. The project is projected to create about 825 residences, 600K SF of office space, 100K SF of retail, 4 acres of open space and more than 2,000 underground parking spaces.

Residents have started moving into a recently completed $97M project in Denver's Montbello neighborhood that was developed using a community-focused model expected to bring a grocery store to an area considered a food desert. FreshLo Hub is a 97-unit apartment building at 12444 E. Albrook Drive with a ground-floor space that will house a nonprofit grocery store beginning in 2025, The Denver Post reported.
