NORWALK, Conn. — After the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) unexpectedly withdrew $10,000 in previously awarded funding, INTEMPO has successfully closed the gap and surpassed it, thanks to the support of the community. The lost grant was intended to help fund INTEMPO’s Cultural Crossover Concert, held in April at Norwalk City Hall.

NORWALK, Conn. — A Peace Pole has been installed at Emig Park in Rowayton, directly across from the United Church of Rowayton. The Peace Pole Project, which began over 40 years ago, now features more than 250,000 poles in 180 countries across every continent. NORWALK, Conn. — Job seekers in the greater Norwalk area are invited to attend an in-person Indeed Info Session on Thursday, June 27, hosted by Open Doors’ Economic Opportunity Hub in partnership with Indeed and Career Resources, Inc. The free event will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Smilow Life Center, 55 Chestnut Street in Norwalk. Attendees are encouraged to arrive at 9:30 a.m. for check-in.
