NORWALK, Conn. — A large crowd of Norwalk residents gathered at City Hall on Tuesday for a Board of Education (BOE) meeting that drew over 90 people signed up to speak, most of whom were in opposition to recent teacher layoffs and reductions to arts programming within Norwalk Public Schools (NPS). Originally scheduled to take place in the Common Council Chambers, the meeting was moved to the Concert Hall to accommodate the high turnout.

NORWALK, Conn. — History buffs and coastal explorers will have the chance to experience two historic lighthouses in one unforgettable voyage this summer, as the Norwalk Seaport Association teams up with the Greens Ledge Light Preservation Society to launch a limited-run, five-hour lighthouse cruise. Scheduled for three Saturdays—June 7, July 12, and August 9—the cruise departs at 8:30 a.m. from 70 Water Street and returns at 1:30 p.m. Tickets are $110.
