NORWALK, Conn. — The Norwalk Ordinance Committee on April 15 advanced a proposed ordinance that would allow the city to install automated traffic enforcement safety devices (ATESD)—commonly known as speed and red-light cameras—in select areas. “We are, through this ordinance, implementing the use of traffic and speed cameras,” said Norwalk Chief of Staff Tom Livingston.
