ROWAYTON, Conn. — Runners of all ages and experience levels are invited to take part in the 45th annual RCA Father’s Day Fun Run on Sunday, June 16. The event kicks off at 9:30 a.m. at the Rowayton Community Center and features scenic, USATF-certified courses through Rowayton and Bell Island. Participants can choose between a short 2.2-mile course or a longer 4.4-mile run. Children under 15 may only run the short course, and an adult must accompany those under seven.

The Oak Hills Park Authority is once again hoping to get a better restaurant into its facility. “By the end of January, middle of January, the current licensee Dry Dock Smokin’ Aces will be out of there on an amicable basis, having paid what he owes us, and we will be good,” Oak Hills Park Authority member Alan Dutton told the Board of Estimate and Taxation at its Monday meeting.
