Sen. Mike Lee's contradictory stance on war powers does raise some eyebrows, though. Sen. Lee faced some backlash for his cruel and insensitive social media posts in the aftermath of a tragic shooting in Minnesota. Will he face any consequences for those posts? Probably not.

Lee chairs, unveiled a plan to raise as much as $10 billion by selling public land for housing development in 11 western states, including Utah.

With those blunt words, Utah Governor Spencer Cox unleashed his frustration over an escalating Pride flag controversy that has pitted the state legislature against Salt Lake City. This year, the GOP-controlled legislature passed HB77, which only allowed flags from an approved list to be displayed in classrooms and at government buildings – effectively banning Pride flags.
