GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — A new bar on the West Side of Grand Rapids gave out hundreds of meals on Easter morning to those in need. Owner Rob Wahl started up Bridge Street Bar less than two months ago, right across from Bridge Street Market. As a longtime West Side visitor, he knows just how many are experiencing homelessness. “The need, I just see it every day coming down here,” Wahl said. He wanted to do something to give back, especially on Easter.
