Stacey Thacker, 48, was indicted in December and charged with aggravated possession of methamphetamine, a second-degree felony; aggravated trafficking in methamphetamine, a second-degree felony; and a forfeiture specification.

    By Caitlin Forsha, The Highland County Press A Bloomingburg man was sentenced to community control recently after pleading guilty to having weapons under disability in Highland County Common Pleas Court. Rodney McCarty, 49, was indicted by a Highland County grand jury in January and charged with the third-degree felony charge as well as a forfeiture specification. He pleaded guilty to both charges in February, according to court records.

This year’s Festival will be held July 10-12 with the theme “Let the Good Times Roll,” with a return to the Highland County Fairgrounds for the first time in many years due to construction at Crossroads Park.
