    The father of a newborn has been charged with manslaughter nearly two years after his baby died in hospital. The 26-year-old man brought the four-week-old boy to Wagga Wagga Base Hospital, in NSW, in critical condition on July 27, 2023, police said. The baby had numerous, unexplained injuries, including broken bones across his body, and was transferred to Sydney Children's Hospital where he died three days later.
