The University of Alabama Women’s Wheelchair Basketball team won its 5th consecutive national championship, on its home court at Stran-Hardin Arena. On March 9th, the Crimson Tide held off the University of Texas at Arlington 75-57 in the championship game of the Women’s Intercollegiate Wheelchair Basketball National Tournament. In addition to the national championship victory, the 2024 team finished the year undefeated with a perfect 25-0 record in intercollegiate play.
