ORLANDO, Fla. - If you've been waiting for summer to show up early, your wish is coming true as Central Florida is heading into a stretch of hot and dry days. The stormy pattern from last week has moved on, replaced by a large ridge of high pressure. With plenty of dry air and limited rain, temperatures in the Orlando area will have the opportunity to steadily climb through next week. Wednesday: Temperatures will run near normal for one more day in the mid-80s.

ORLANDO, Fla. - Skies clear after sunrise Tuesday in Central Florida, and we're in for a stretch of dry, warm weather that turns hot by the weekend, with temps pushing into the 90s and no rain in sight. [Watch Candace Campos' video forecast below] Once we get past the morning fog, expect the weather to be pretty quiet. Some drier air will settle in behind Monday's front. A few spotty showers will be possible (20%), but expect a mainly dry afternoon.

ORLANDO, Fla. - We've been dealing with unsettled weather for days now, and unfortunately, we've still got a few more to go before things finally dry out. While the rain is much needed, it's coming with a catch - a daily threat for strong to severe storms.

ORLANDO, Fla. – After a stretch of active weather across Central Florida, Mother’s Day on Sunday is shaping up to be more of the same. While rain chances remain high, it won’t be a total washout — just one of those days where you’ll want to have some indoor options ready, especially later on. If you’re making plans, remember the stormiest weather will favor the second half of the day. Sunday morning looks mostly dry, with a mix of sun and clouds and temperatures starting in the 70s.
