A sinister theory has emerged about the fate of a tradie who vanished from a country town six months ago, leaving behind just a hat, shoes and wallet. Jack McLennan, 27, was living near the Queensland farming community of Murgon and working as a builder when he went missing on October 4 last year. A young boy has claimed he heard screaming and a loud crash come from an apartment of a woman who died following an alleged domestic violence attack. Marketing executive Claire Austin, 38, partially severed her arm by running through an internal glass door and was found bleeding profusely in her top-floor apartment on Randwick Street, Randwick just after 7.30am on Saturday. An AVO had been taken out on her behalf just days before she died.
