Due to her community work, Cindy Johnson Brown of the Washington County School Board has been recognized as an Emerging Leader by the Florida School Boards Association. The distinction is given to school board members who document a minimum of 48 hours of training in leadership, advocacy, and knowledge, a news release said. Brown is a member of the newest class. “I am so excited to recognize Cindy as an Emerging Leader,” FSBA Leadership Services Director Tina Pinkoson said in a prepared statement.

[email protected] resident Destiny Worley is in her second year of collecting gift donations for regional senior citizens. Worley is planning to bring holiday gifts to people at Community Health and Rehabilitation Center, a senior living facility in Panama City, in December and invites the community to donate to the cause. She will hand-deliver the gifts, which will include sponsor names. Socks and candy are included in the donations. “They’ll get some lotion and hand cream,” Worley said.

This vision was significant since it meant Paul left Asia and traveled to Europe. Macedonia was the northern province in Greece.
