The center provides water, snacks and shelter to anyone seeking relief from the extreme heat.     HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — Fire crews battled heavy fire at a home along Upham Drive in Henrico County early Tuesday morning. "Units arrived on location within five minutes, and we found heavy fire throughout the structure, coming through the back side of the roof," said Captain Scott Akens. Just after 4:30 a.m., the single-story home had flames and smoke coming through the roof.

    RICHMOND, Va. — A man was shot multiple times in Fairfield Court early Monday morning, according to Richmond Police. Officers found a man with gunshot wounds at the 2500 block of Rosetta Street around 3:45 a.m. He was taken to a hospital and is expected to recover. CBS 6 was on the scene just after 4 a.m. as police canvassed the neighborhood near the intersection of Phaup and Rosetta Streets.
