Unmanned undersea vehicles are going to be tested and used for training by the Navy, off the Ventura Coast. It comes after a report determined there would not be significant environmental impacts from the action. They are known as Extra Large Unmanned Undersea Vehicles, which is basically a drone submarine. It's called an ORCA and made by Boeing. "It's new to the Navy and it's about 85 feet long and it weighs about 175,000 pounds," explains the Navy's Fleet Force Command Greg Thompson.

She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2023. Eileen Hongo from Santa Maria was determined to learn all she could about the disease and how to fight it. "Within two and a half weeks, I had a bilateral mastectomy and then I started chemotherapy.
