There are so many other things worthy of our complaints, I just don't see a huge issue in proudly stating why you're important to your department. I am sure every one of these people can list five things they accomplished.

I may be in the minority on this, but is justifying how important you are to your workplace by listing 5 things you accomplished that astonishing? I have to do it in most of all jobs I've ever had. In fact, I had to do it daily as an "end of shift" note.

Why should you care about the consumer confidence report? I always like to remind people these aren't to cause mass hysteria, it's just taking the temperature of where we are at as a society. Pretty simply put: the unexpected decline signals potential consumer spending pullback
