The Jazz and Lyrical teams were both crowned National Champions at their first competition – the Future Cheer University Nationals, held in Manchester.

0 Immanuel Feyi-Waboso scored his first international try in just his second match for England, but could not prevent the Red Rose from suffering Calcutta Cup defeat. He is one of three current Exeter students competing at this year’s Six Nations, with Dafydd Jenkins captaining Wales while Ross Vintcent earned his first call-up to the senior Italy side.

0 Although February was unseasonably mild, Snowsports still found a way to bring a small slice of the Alps to Exeter on the 17th February, as Chill Hill returned to campus for the first time since 2017. This was a project of epic proportions. 50 tonnes of snow were shipped in from Milton Keynes to create a ski slope down Forum Hill, and thousands of students flocked to campus on a Saturday for an après-ski festival atmosphere.

0 Nathan Aspinall cruised to a 6-2 victory over Rob Cross in the final on Night 5 of the PDC Premier League. Point-less after the first three nights of the campaign, ‘The Asp’ is enjoying a return to form, picking up his first win of the season after reaching last week’s final in Newcastle. He beat winless Peter ‘Snakebite’ Wright 6-4 in the quarter-finals before edging out World no.1 Luke Humphries in a deciding-leg thriller on his way to the final.

0 It has certainly been an up and down season so far for Exeter City Football Club. Gary Caldwell’s team got off to a fantastic start to the season, reaching the top of the table in September, playing excellent football and creating a buzz around the city. But as Caldwell celebrated a year at the club, having been appointed in October 2022 in place of club legend Matt Taylor, City’s form took a turn for the worse.
