UPDATE (5/11, 8:45 p.m.) — Mobile Police have made an arrest after one man was found shot to death in a home Sunday morning. 25-year-old Jordan Fantroy-Adams was booked into Metro Jail at 4:20 p.m. He faces a number of charges including:MurderAttempted murderBurglary, 1st degreeKidnapping, 2nd degreeDischarging gun in occupied/unoccupied building/vehicle RobberyFantroy-Adams is expected to have a bond hearing Monday. MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — A cargo truck overturned Monday morning on Interstate 65 near the Satsuma exit. Interstate 65 northbound traffic in Creola was impacted after a truck overturned. (Chad Petri/WKRG)News 5 was on the scene at about 5 a.m., where the overturned truck could be seen with a smashed front. Wreckers cleared the scene, but there is no word yet on what caused the crash or if the driver was injured. One lane of Interstate 65 in Creola was closed because of an overturned truck.

Hundreds participated in the Lions Club of Mobile’s “Double Tunnel Run” through the Bankhead Tunnel Saturday morning. “We like to say, it’s a run where you run on land, underwater, and on land,” Sam Winter with the Lions Club of Mobile said. Runners went through the Bankhead Tunnel and back to raise money for the club and its efforts to improve vision and eyesight for people around the region. The tunnel is a rare treat on your feet.

Family members say 40-year-old Jeffery Shaw overcame drug addiction to pull his life and family together. Family members say the Coden man was heading home, traveling south here along Dauphin Island Parkway when his life came to an abrupt end.
