SUMMERDALE, Ala. (WPMI) — In paperwork filed Wednesday, the Alabama Department of Environment Management (ADEM) is proposing a $5,000 fine for the Town of Summerdale for open burning on city owned property in violation of State and Federal regulations. In the filing, ADEM says they received a complaint about open burning on the property on March 25.
