HOUSTON (KIAH) — Houston Rockets head coach Ime Udoka has become one of the top-paid head coaches in the NBA after reaching an extension with the team, according to reports. ESPN reports that sources told them that Udoka and the Rockets have agreed to a long-term contract extension on Thursday, following a season where Houston won 52 games and made its first playoff appearance since the 2019-20 season. The Rockets fell to Golden State in the first round in a seven-game series.

HOUSTON (KIAH) — Police are searching for a suspected robber who attempted to rob two cars, one of them by gunpoint in different locations in east Houston. On Monday, April 28, around noon, two men broke into a parked car at a convenience store at the 4600 block of Telephone Road. The suspects broke the windows of the car and removed a cash envelope from the center console of the car.

HOUSTON (KIAH) — A high-rise condominium is on fire in northwest Harris County, and several fire departments are now trying to put out the blaze. The Timber Tip Condominiums, located at 14655 Champion Forest Drive, is showing smoke from the building. An elderly female at the location is having difficulty breathing, according to the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office. EMS is responding to the scene.
