For the first time in school history, the Grandview Zebras won a UIL softball state title. Grandview (34-3) secured an 9-3 victory over Whitesboro (26-12) on Thursday, May 29, at Red & Charline McCombs Field in the Class 3A Division I state championship. The Zebras, who lost in the 2024 Class 3A state championship, seized redemption with the program-defining victory. Grandview was effective from the start, adding two runs in the first frame via a home run from Sydney Mann.
