Two drivers are reported to have been involved in an altercation on the roundabout - near to the A414 in Great Amwell - between 1.30pm and 1.50pm on Saturday, June 29, 2024. One had been driving a white Volkswagen Transporter van and the other was in a white HGV.

Emergency services were called to Winding Hill at around 11am on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. A cyclist and a blue Land Rover estate were involved in a collision. The cyclist, a man in his 70s, was taken to hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries, police said.

The incident happened on the A10 travelling southbound between Rush Green and Great Amwell just before 7am on Saturday (June 29, 2024). Police said two vehicles were involved - a motorbike and a VW Golf. Officers attended the scene alongside the ambulance service. Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
