HARRISONBURG, Va. (WHSV) - While being pregnant can be such a beautiful and exciting experience, that nine-month journey isn’t always easy. There are a few complications moms-to-be can face. One of the more common ones is preeclampsia, which is new, onset high blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy accompanied by extra protein in urine. “The high blood pressure was always my first symptom, followed by the proteinuria, and the headaches, the blurred vision,” Abigail Blosser said.
