LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A Lubbock man was sentenced to life in prison Friday after he was convicted of three counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child. 49-year-old Nathan Grassie will serve two consecutive life sentences on two of the counts as well as 20 years for the third count. Grassie is not eligible for parole. Court documents show Grassie sexually abused the victims for nearly a decade. One of the victims told police the abuse started when he was 10 years old and continued until he was 18.

LITTLEFIELD, Texas (KCBD) - Littlefield police are investigating a shooting that left one person injured late Wednesday night. Just before 11 p.m., officers responded to a shots fired call in the 700 block of East Waylon Jennings Blvd. Upon arrival, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.
