    LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - First Alert Weather Days are in place Thursday and Friday, for the potential for multiple rounds of severe weather. The first round will arrive early Thursday morning. Thunderstorms developing now in northeastern and northern New Mexico are expected to congeal into a complex and move toward the Texas Panhandle and NW South Plains by late tonight.

    LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A cold front is continuing to push south through the region this afternoon, providing storm chances for areas off to the east and off of the Caprock. Behind the cold front, temperatures have cooled several degrees into the 70s, and areas south and southeast of the frontal boundary will continue to see warmer temperatures as southerly winds continue to bring warm air into the region. Highs have topped out in the 80s and 90s across the rest of the viewing area.

    LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - A few isolated thunderstorms will continue to move eastward throughout Sunday evening, with a few strong wind gusts possible. No severe weather is expected. A mild and quiet overnight period is expected, with lows above 60° for most of the region. Continuous southeasterly winds will result in a steady increase in low-level moisture.

    LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - As of 3 p.m., a few isolated thunderstorms have already developed near the Texas/New Mexico state line, and this activity will expand in coverage and move into the southwestern portion of the viewing area and western portions of the South Plains before diminishing after sunset. Then later this evening, another round of isolated thunderstorms is expected off the Caprock.
