Michelin partnered with the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau to include Philadelphia restaurants for consideration in the new Michelin Guide Northeast Cities edition. Officials said a small fishing boat with three people onboard overturned on Saturday, May 10, 2025, in the Delaware River near Lamberton Road. According to officials, two people have been rescued, and now teams are searching for another person.

Philadelphia police are investigating a woman's death after her body was discovered in the Schuylkill River Saturday morning. Police said officers were called to the 4500 block of Kelly Drive at approximately 10:40 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2025, after receiving reports of a person in the river. Medics on scene pronounced the woman dead at 11 a.m. No details about the identity of the woman have been released. Police said the investigation is ongoing.

A driver died late Friday night after police said they lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a tree in Philadelphia's Roxborough neighborhood. Police said the incident happened on Friday, May 9, 2025, just before 10 p.m. at the intersection of 6300 Henry Ave. and Gates St.According to police, the driver -- identified as Thomas Werner, 43, of Philadelphia -- was traveling southbound on Henry Ave. before losing control and striking a tree.

A suspect is critically wounded after a shooting involving police early Saturday morning in New Castle County, Delaware, police said. The incident happened around 1 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, along Route 13 in Townsend. In a post on social media, Delaware State Police confirmed there was an officer-involved shooting and the suspect was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries. NBC10 was on the scene and a white car was seen being towed away.
