    A 34-year-old woman charged with murder in the stabbing death of her 62-year-old boyfriend heads to court Wednesday morning. Shirley Pryor-McAdam called 911 at 2:01 a.m. Tuesday and told a dispatcher that her boyfriend “fell” on a knife, according to a recording of the call. “He stabbed himself?” the dispatcher asked. “No, he fell on it!” the woman responded, according to a recording of the call.

    Frigid temperatures will take hold of the region again and we will see another chance for snow early this week. However, a warm-up with the chance of melting the piles of snow on the ground is on the horizon. It was 36 degrees early Monday but temperatures are going to fall steadily. The midday high will be near 26 degrees. Tuesday will bring a chance of snow with accumulations of about an inch possible.

    The Greater Cincinnati area is under a High Wind Warning as the remnants of Hurricane Helene bring damaging winds to the area. The wind warning covers Northern Kentucky, Southwest Ohio and Southeast Indiana. It is in effect from noon to 10 p.m. Friday. "Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines," according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. "Widespread power outages are expected.

    Remnants of Hurricane Helene are moving into the region Friday and are expected to bring damaging winds and heavy rain. Tree damage and power outages are possible, according to the National Weather Service in Wilmington. The agency has issued a High Wind Warning for all the counties in Northern Kentucky, Southwest Ohio and Southeast Indiana from noon through 10 p.m. Friday. East winds from 25 to 35 mph are expected and gusts of up to 60 mph are possible.

The Taco Bell at 993 Graham Road on the border of Stow and Cuyahoga Falls was surrounded by police cars around 9 p.m. Wednesday, along with fire department responders and a group of people.
