The newly constructed Chamisa Elementary School main building received its final coat of paint recently at 301 Meadow Lane in White Rock. Construction continues on the project to replace the decades-old former school. Workers are removing portables from the school grounds, digging up the old parking lot, and removing playground equipment from the former primary playground.
