For nearly three-quarters of a century, the small white envelopes have held their secrets. Postmarked from Gallup and addressed in tidy capital letters to Cpl. Hiroshi Miyamura, the envelopes hold letters written by Tsuruko "Terry" Miyamura, the young soldier's wife of fewer than three years at the time as the Korean War raged on. The letters were returned to Terry Miyamura long before her husband was.
