MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! An area of low pressure developing off the eastern coast of Georgia will increase rain chances to finish the week. Aside from the likelihood of storms, highs will reach the mid-90s in the afternoons, with northeast winds at 6-12 mph, gusting over 17 mph. Humidity will also rise as the low-pressure system moves into extreme southern Georgia, bringing tropical moisture to the surrounding areas.

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Good morning to you all! Winds around Middle Georgia will be quite strong from the east, ranging from 10-17 mph and gusting over 25 mph throughout the afternoon. This is due to Potential Tropical Cyclone One off the eastern coast of Mexico and a powerful high-pressure area off the U.S. East Coast. These winds are expected whether or not PTC One becomes named as Alberto.
