Hermosa Beach once again honored legendary surfers and surf culture this weekend. The South Bay Surf Awards, Surfers Walk of Fame and the Spyder Surf Fest took place Friday, Saturday and Sunday, April 25-27, at multiple spots throughout Hermosa. The festivities kicked off on Friday, with the Surf Awards at the Hermosa Beach Community Center, where awards are handed out for Ride of the Year, Biggest Wave Award, Hardest Charging Grom and the Best Wipeout Award.
