    Valero will pay more than $270,00 in fines as part of a settlement with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, after the regulator found several chemical safety violations at the company’s Wilmington Refinery. The EPA announced the settlement with Ultramar, Inc., an energy company that in 2001, on Wednesday, June 4. Valero did not immediatley respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.

The new prices will last through June 30, 2030.
