Florida State Seminoles softball has been named the No. 5 national seed in the 2025 NCAA Division I Softball Tournament, it was announced on Sunday evening. The Seminoles, which went 46-9 overall and 18-3 against Atlantic Coast Conference opponents, earned the regular season crown in the ACC and played in the ACC Tournament Championship, coming up short to Clemson, 2-1. The Seminoles are making their 37th NCAA Tournament appearance, including their 25th in a row.
