ROI: Baltimore City Schools approved a $1.87 BILLION budget to educate 76,841. That equals around $23,400 per student. KEEP IN MIND, 2024 testing shows 10% of Baltimore students are proficient in math. At what point should taxpayers demand better outcomes from school leaders?

WHAT HAPPENED? Ten years ago, The Preakness drew well over 100,000 attendees. It was a huge event. More recently, the race has attracted around 60,000 attendees. I’m sure there’s more than one reason. But why has attendance dropped so much? Thoughts?
