A fifth person has been formally charged in the fatal Feb. 10 shooting of 15-year-old Makai Kenith Neal. During a brief preliminary hearing Friday, Milwaukee County Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey A. Wagner found police and prosecutors had enough probable cause to charge Keyshawn Barnett, 24 of Milwaukee, with harboring/aiding a felony in Makai's slaying.

Immigration officers recently arrested two people in the hallways of the Milwaukee County Courthouse and the Safety Building, according to an email from the county's chief judge, raising concerns about the chilling effect of federal enforcement actions near court hearings. Chief Judge Carl Ashley informed courthouse staff of the detentions Thursday, according to a copy of the email obtained by the Journal Sentinel.

An attorney for Robinson's estate filed a lawsuit Tuesday against Twisted Fisherman, LLC, and Duke's On Water, Inc. She argued staff at each establishment didn't ask for her ID before she was served multiple alcoholic beverages, but sold them to her anyway.

A court commissioner determined Monday police and prosecutors had enough probable cause to charge a Milwaukee man with homicide in the fatal Feb. 10 shooting of a 15-year-old boy. At a preliminary hearing, Commissioner Barry Phillips ordered the criminal case against Charles Roby to be bound over for trial.
