MANCHESTER, N.H. (WHDH) - A Toyota crashed into several parked vehicles outside a Market Basket in Manchester, N.H., Tuesday morning, police said. At around 9:20 a.m., officers responded to the parking lot of 460 Elm St. for reports of a motor vehicle crash, according to the Manchester Police Department. Upon arrival, emergency crews determined a 2024 electric Toyota Highlander had entered the parking lot at high speed and crashed into five parked cars, police said.

LYNN, MASS. (WHDH) - Firefighters battled a fast-moving fire that damaged three buildings, including a church, near the intersection of Chestnut Street and Thompson Circle Friday night in Lynn. Crews could be seen using ladder trucks to fight the fierce flames, which sent a plume of smoke billowing into the sky. “I was just sitting on my couch, and I heard sirens,” said witness Jason Watts. “I had a police scanner, so I turned it on.

WORCESTER, MASS. (WHDH) - The storm that dumped more than 6 inches of snow across parts of the region switched to a messy mix and freezing rain Sunday, which resulted in a spate of crashes and spin-outs on area roadways. On Monday, strong winds coupled with icy roads made for a tough morning commute. As of noon, Boston was seeing wind gusts of up to 58 miles per hour. In Worcester, winds were also howling, with gusts of up to 52 miles per hour.

FITCHBURG, MASS. (WHDH) - The flakes have switched to ice pellets in Fitchburg as area residents hunker down for a messy weekend storm that is expected to bring snow, ice, and rain to the region. The snow starting coming down around 5:30 p.m. Saturday and dumped about 4 inches of snow before switching over to a messy mix Sunday morning and eventually rain before moving out of the area on Sunday.

CHARLESTOWN, N.H. (WHDH) - Boston police were investigating after a man was found dead at the Charlestown marina late Sunday night. Crews responded to Shipway Place to “investigate an incident on a houseboat” before 11 p.m., police said. “On arrival, officers located a non-viable individual,” Boston police said in a statement.
