LEOMINSTER, MASS. (WHDH) - A child died after being hit by a vehicle in Leominster Monday evening, according to Leominster Police. Leominster Police and the Leominster Fire Department were dispatched to the area of Market Basket on Sack Boulevard around 6:07 p.m. for reports of a child hit by a pickup truck, authorities said. When they arrived, they found a child had been struck by a 2018 white Chevrolet Silverado, registered in Maine, according to police.

BROCKTON, MASS. (WHDH) - Fire crews are working to knock down hot spots after a building went up in flames in Brockton Saturday night. Crews responding to a reported fire on Legion Parkway around 6 p.m. found flames shooting from the upper floors. As they were fighting the flames, officials became concerned the more than 100-year-old building would collapse. Brockton Fire Chief Brian Nardelli said crews had to be evacuated when floors inside started collapsing.

BOSTON (WHDH) - Police are investigating after a 60-year-old woman was stabbed in a park in the South End on Sunday. Emergency crews responding to a reported stabbing in Ramsey Park around 1 p.m. found the woman suffering from undisclosed injuries, according to police.
