The next chance of rain in the Augusta area will be Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, when a weak cold front brings a small chance of rain to our region. Another frontal system may move into the area next weekend bringing the possibility for another chance of rain next weekend. The forecast for Easter Sunday looks great for outdoor plans.

No rain in the forecast through the weekend, so looking good for outdoor plans. Skies will be mostly cloudy Sunday. Morning lows Saturday and Sunday morning will be near 60°, about 10° above average for this time of year. Afternoon highs Saturday will be close to 90° with wind out of the south between 5-10 mph.

Warmer than average weather returns Friday into next weekend. A chilly start Sunday, but the afternoon looks sunny and a bit warmer with highs in the lower to middle 70s. Winds from the west at 5-10 mph.

Warmer than average weather returns Friday into next weekend. Sunny and less windy Saturday. Highs in the middle to upper 60s. Winds from the northwest at 5 to 10 mph.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - Sunday will be a windy and unseasonably warm day ahead of a slow moving cold front that will bring rain to the area Sunday night into Monday and much cooler weather for the week ahead. A FIRST ALERT remains in effect for overnight Sunday and Monday for the risk of flash flood and possibly a few strong to severe thunderstorms.
