LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- An app officers use is the latest source of controversy at the Louisville Metro Police Department. It's called Signal, and the messages written in it can disappear after a set period of time. It would appear LMPD officers were using it in that capacity. The department tells WDRB a group chat for the Command Staff was created under a previous administration. The point was to share information about shootings, homicides and other police work.

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (WDRB) -- It's been said, we are not makers of history, we are made by it. It's Don Holton and his crew's job to preserve it. "That's basically what my company does is we try to restore these historical buildings," Holton said. The crew from Ohio based Durable Restoration Company is working on the building in downtown E-town that houses the Chamber of Commerce. It's been standing since 1906.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Mondays are busy days, for Louisville's littlest lunch lady. "Don't rip it," mother Rosa Moran said to her daughter, as the two made a sandwich. Two and half year-old Hailey Whiteside's morning is split between the kitchen with her mom, and running back and forth to the front door. "Nope!" she said as she looked outside. Hailey is waiting for that first sign, that the people she's making lunch for, are getting close. "She hears their brakes, oh it's on," said Moran.
