Just down the road from Costco, Annette McNally and Jay Short have been forced to rely on stairs to get out of their building. "It's just a disaster. It's frustrating," said Annette McNally, who lives in the building.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- The snow isn't going anywhere anytime soon and with Friday's additional, expected snow, the city of Louisville is asking for the public's help. The city has used 30 million pounds of salt on the roads so far and crews are filling up their trucks with more salt. It's prepping for Friday with an emergency snow contractor crews, which adds 12 people to clean up efforts. Mayor Craig Greenberg is asking you to clear your private sidewalks and help your neighbors.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Louisville-area hardware stores are busy this week as families try to make way for the next round of winter weather. Supplies are leaving stores fast these days, many people taking home de-icer. "If you put the salt down, you have less chance of falling," Jerry Steinberg, a Kentuckian, said. Steinberg has come to terms with the scattered flurries and frigid temps staying in the area. "You have to prepare for it," Steinberg said.
