The applicant, Outer Banks, LLC, was seeking to rezone a 4.08-acre parcel of land at 2590 and 2600 Old Thompson Bridge Road NW from Residential-I and General Business to Residential-II, according to city documents.

The Planning Commission voted to recommend approval of the development, which is currently zoned as Agricultural Residential. The applicant, CMWB Company, LLC, is requesting to rezone the 29.65-acre property to Planned Residential Development, according to county documents.

The area is located at 5052 Cagle Road and was previously zoned as Agricultural Residential prior to Thursday night's vote. The property has now been shifted to a Planned Industrial Development zoning, according to the Commissioner's unanimous vote.
