Hart County man indicted on human trafficking charges

A Hart County man has now been indicted on charges of human trafficking and sexual exploitation of children after allegedly paying a 16-year-old girl for sex. Georgia Attorney General Chris Carr's office announced the indictment Thursday morning, saying it was handed down by a grand jury from Fulton County, the county in which the alleged crimes took place. The office said the case happened in November 2024.

A Flowery Branch man was arrested on Monday after he allegedly injured two boys during an argument at a home on Green Oak Ridge. The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said an Oakwood Police Officer detained Vinson S. Pierre, 20, after he drove one of the injured boys to Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton. Deputies met with the nine-year-old victim and learned he received stitches for a cut to his head. During the investigation, deputies discovered that Pierre also injured an 8-year-old boy.
