Former Monte Vista High and Cal tight end Jack Endries is transferring to Texas, according to reports from ESPN’s Pete Thamel and others. Endries graduated from Monte Vista in 2022 after a stellar prep career that included a first-team All-Bay Area News Group honor for the 2021 season. He then walked on at Cal despite holding double-digit scholarship offers and was the Bears' leading receiver in 2024. Endries took a visit to Texas' campus and made his commitment on Friday.
