Thousands of demonstrators rallied in San Francisco's Civic Center on Sunday, expressing frustrations and anger about how President Donald Trump is running the country. So-called Hands Off! demonstrations were organized for more than 1,200 locations in all 50 states by more than 150 groups, including civil rights organizations, labor unions, LBGTQ+ advocates, veterans and elections activists. "Our president is golfing and our economy is tanking," said Nicole Stahl of San Francisco.

A sea of orange and black filled Oracle Park as San Francisco Giants fans arrived to welcome the team and baseball back to the city. Fans got a chance to root for the team at its home opener, which also marked the 25th anniversary of the ballpark. "You know baseball is all about being on a hot streak and we got one going. I can feel it, so I can look forward to the entire ride," said Geoffrey Dowd of San Francisco.

Thieves used a car to ram into a North Bay camera store before stealing tens of thousands of dollars' worth of equipment earlier this week. The burglary at Seawood Photo in San Rafael happened early Monday. "They finally just decided to drive the car though the big window here and kind of ransack the place," assistant manager Dan Herring said. An estimated $40,000 to $50,000 in equipment was taken. San Rafael police said the car used to break the window was stolen. It turned up a day later.

Many gathered in Union City on Sunday to raise funds and provide relief for those affected by the 7.7 magnitude earthquake in Myanmar. The Myanmar Community and Cultural Center organized the relief event and united the community. "I am from Mandalay, so most of my family members are in the towns. Luckily, they are all safe," said Wai Phyo, vice president of Obe Myanmar Community. One of my cousins got [injured] from the leg.
