    CEDARBURG — The Cedarburg Common Council unanimously approved the Cedarburg Police Department to install Flock Security Cameras for a free 60-day trial — one of the last communities in the county to do so. The cameras are designed to serve as a force multiplier for law enforcement, providing real-time alerts and objective evidence to assist in criminal investigations, stolen vehicle recovery and locating missing persons, according to the memo given to the council.

    TOWN OF CEDARBURG — The owner of Miss Molly’s Catering is welcoming the community to come and take a seat at her new café next door. Molly Mcgarry opened the Red Apron Café on May 28 at 1170 N. Wauwatosa Road in the town of Cedarburg. Mcgarry did not expect to be where she is right now. She went from running her catering business on the first floor of a house on Bridge Road in the city of Cedarburg to a new 2,100-square-foot space in the town where she can take on more business.

    MADISON — The vice chairmen on the Wisconsin Joint Committee on Finance recently introduced a bill to reauthorize funding to the Knowles-Nelson Stewardship Program for the next four years. In the bill created by State Rep. Tony Kurtz, R-Wonewoc, and Sen. Patrick Testin, R-Stevens Point, reauthorizes the program until fiscal year 2029-30 as well as makes changes to the land acquisition and property development and local assistance subprograms and creates a separate major land acquisitions program.
