A Bethlehem man will spend years in prison for sexually abusing three girls several years ago, according to authorities. Esteban Suarez-Feliciano, 76, was sentenced to six to 42 years in prison, Northampton County District Attorney Stephen Baratta said in a news release Thursday. Suarez-Feliciano pleaded guilty in January to felony charges of indecent assault of someone younger than 13 and endangering child welfare.

The Lehigh Valley could get more than an inch of rain before the weekend, which should put an end to a somewhat rainy period for the region. The local National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey, said the Lehigh Valley could get between 1 and 1½ inches of rain by Friday night. Parts of northeastern Lehigh Valley and the Poconos could get up to 2 inches of rain.

After hours of testimony Wednesday, including from two Lehigh Valley Health Network doctors, the parents of twin teens found severely emaciated after one of them made it to a neighbor’s home will face trial in county court on abuse charges. Charges were upheld after a preliminary hearing Wednesday against the boys’ mother Tracey Dechant, 42, and their stepfather, Joshua Dechant, 36, of Lower Macungie Township.

A Bethlehem man will spend more than three years in federal prison for stealing more than 150 guns, according to authorities. The U.S. Attorney’s Office said in a news release that Ismael Terrero-Terrero was sentenced Tuesday to three years and four months in federal prison, and was ordered to pay roughly $26,800 in restitution for stealing from firearms dealers.
