A Lehigh Valley man is among five Pennsylvania residents suing gambling company DraftKings, alleging the company engages in deceptive practices and exploits gambling addictions. The class-action lawsuit, filed in April in federal court in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, alleges DraftKings targets users that are on self-exclusion lists for addicted gamblers, or users that have asked the company to suspend or close their accounts to prevent them from gambling.

Drinking water in Catasauqua may be unsafe to drink without boiling after a water system issue over the weekend, officials said. The borough issued a boil water advisory Saturday, saying that a loss of pressure caused by electrical and mechanical pump failure could mean disease-causing organisms could be in the water. Residents should not drink water without boiling it first.

Sunshine and warmer weather are expected this week in the Lehigh Valley after the end of nearly the wettest May on record. The local National Weather Service office in Mount Holly, New Jersey, is forecasting highs in the 80s Tuesday through Sunday this week. Monday, which has an anticipated high of 73, will be the coolest day of the week. A high of 80 is expected Tuesday, and temperatures will reach nearly 90 by Thursday, according to forecasters.

Lehigh Valley residents in the Bethlehem and Upper Macungie Township might soon have another option for their internet service. A Verizon spokesperson said Friday that the company plans to expand its Fios service in the Lehigh Valley, and about 1,000 new households in Bethlehem and the Kuhnsville section of Upper Macungie Township should be qualified for it each month.

Investigators are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man who was found dead Sunday in the Delaware River in Northampton County. State police said in a news release Friday that the body was found about 12:30 p.m. Sunday in the area of Slateford Road near Arrowhead Island in Upper Mount Bethel Township. The man was described as white or Hispanic, about 5-foot-10, wearing an extra large Under Armour t-shirt and size 34×30 Wrangler pants.
