The antique business never gets old. At least it doesn’t for Steve White, owner of White & White Antiques in the village of Skaneateles. After more than 50 years in the business, White is looking to close his store at some point this year — but he's not ready to hang up his hat. The 83-year-old antique dealer and appraiser sat down with The Citizen earlier this month to discuss what's next for him, as well as his own history, his passion for antiques, his wide range of athletic endeavors and more.

Instead of the bright yellow monolithic facade synonymous with Buffalo Wild Wings, a vibrant coat of azure has freshened the exterior of the same building. Casa Azteca Restaurante Mexicano & Cantina’s wordless emblem looms high above the road, keeping the building from going the way of the buffalo or becoming another chain restaurant.

SYRACUSE , N.Y. — The 19th Annual Charity Sports Auction, which is presented and organized by students in Syracuse University's Sport Management Club, is once again helping out the central New York community. This year, efforts have raised more than $600,000 for a local charity. Tillie's Touch, a local youth sports organization which provides sports equipment and school supplies for children, is the nonprofit benefiting from this year's online and in-person auction.
