She assumed her new position Thursday, succeeding Valerie Knoblauch, who retired after 40 years of promoting Ontario County tourism.     CANANDAIGUA — The spot where County Road 32 and Hickox Road meet in this Ontario County town has an accident rate more than four times the state average for similar intersections. With that in mind, Ontario County officials have come up with some potential improvements to the intersection, including changing it from a two-way stop to an all-way stop or a roundabout.
