    “What does it mean to be spiritual?”At one point, I read everything I could on the topic, as Christian Science describes it, including the Bible and writings by the discoverer of Christian Science, Mary Baker Eddy, including “Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.” I also read and listened to relevant articles and recordings I found in the Christian Science periodicals. Yet, I felt I couldn’t grasp the concept in a way that felt reliable and demonstrable.

    ASHEVILLE, N.C. (WSPA) – Lizzie Whitcher is the floral designer at Biltmore, and the house is all set for Christmas at Biltmore. Many visitors have expressed how calming the decorated house is this year because of the unsettled weather. Hurricane Helene certainly changed the landscape with trees uprooted like so many others experienced. The inside of the home is just as beautiful as ever. Whitcher’s favorites include the vestibule, the library, the dining hall and the billiard room.

    CLEMSON, S.C. (WSPA) – Farmers and ranchers are still assessing the damage from Hurricane Helene. While crops like corn had mostly been harvested, other crops like peanuts and cotton had already been stressed from earlier rains from Tropical Storm Debby and a drought before that. Clemson University developed a website where farmers and ranchers can report damage from the storm and attach pictures and videos to show what happened.
